Are you technically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, and want to work with critical infrastructure? Our client in the railway industry is now looking for an experienced train technician who wants a key role in ensuring reliable and safe transport solutions.

In the role of train technician, you will work with systematic troubleshooting and fault rectification of railway vehicles. Your focus will be on quickly and safely identifying fault causes to minimize downtime and ensure high availability in traffic.

• Troubleshooting and repairing technical systems in railway vehicles

• Analysis of fault causes in both acute and recurring operational disturbances

• Interpretation of electrical diagrams and technical documentation

• Contribute to safe, efficient, and reliable maintenance work

You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in technology and troubleshooting. At the same time, you are structured and accustomed to working methodically with safety in focus.

• High school education in electrical, automation, vehicle, or engineering, or equivalent work experience

• Several years of experience in troubleshooting technical systems, preferably within trains or rail vehicles

• Good knowledge of electrical systems and control and regulation systems

• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and technical documentation

• High safety awareness and understanding of railway safety requirements

• Post-secondary education in railway technology, electrical/automation, or mechatronics

• Qualifications in electrical and electrical safety work

• Experience in vehicle diagnostics, log and event analysis

• Knowledge of condition-based or predictive maintenance

• Experience in root cause analysis and technical reporting
