We are now looking for an experienced and service-minded Maintenance Technician for our technical department in Gothenburg!

About the role

The position involves maintaining and servicing production and facility-related technical equipment at our operations within production, distribution/warehouse, and office environments. The position is based in Gothenburg, but we also have operations in Mölndal and Hede, and occasionally you will work at these locations as well. The role is part of a team of 4 people. The work requires good collaboration and communication skills both within and outside the company.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date as soon as possible.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance and assist when external parties service our equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repairs during unplanned downtime.
  • Plan and perform calibration of equipment.
  • Participate in projects/validation for product, process, or system development.
  • Document according to Vitrolife's quality system.
  • Procurement and inventory management of spare parts.
  • Work in clean rooms.
  • Handle facility-related issues internally and with the property owner.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, it is important to be service-oriented, communicative, and flexible, as well as to enjoy working both independently and in a team. You should find it fun to work in a changing environment, and taking responsibility comes naturally to you. Furthermore, you are structured, meticulous, and have good prioritization skills, always ensuring that deadlines are met.

We believe you have a high school diploma with a technical focus or equivalent experience from the workforce. We would like you to have experience working with service, maintenance, and automation, and that you are used to documenting your work and can create instructions for future maintenance/service of equipment.

Knowledge of PLC, electrical systems, pneumatics (control and regulation), and experience working with automated machines and production lines are advantageous. Experience in the medical technology or similar industry is a plus.

The role requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you must hold a valid driver's license (B).

The position requires all employees in the department to undergo a background check.
