The client company operates in food production and is located in the Ulricehamn area.

As an Operations Technician, you play a key role in ensuring stable, safe, and efficient operations in a highly automated production environment. The role is operational and technically advanced, focusing on troubleshooting, electrical systems, automation, and continuous optimization of production processes. You work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of production lines and automation systems

• Programming and optimization of PLC, HMI, and control systems

• Advanced electrical troubleshooting

• Sequence and motion control for servo systems

• Work with control cabinets, including installation, modification, and documentation

• Participation in CE marking and technical changes

• Preventive maintenance and participation in improvement and development projects

• Ensure that work is performed according to applicable electrical, occupational safety, and security requirements

We are looking for someone with documented experience in programming within industrial automation, with excellent knowledge of electrical systems and design. You have relevant electrical qualifications according to applicable regulations and have worked in an automated process or manufacturing industry. You are accustomed to reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation and have a good system understanding and strong troubleshooting skills. Experience with CE marking of machines, sequence programming for servo drives, and practical work with control cabinets is advantageous. Knowledge in process control, forklift certification, and experience from food or pharmaceutical production are also seen as a plus.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented with a strong safety awareness. You enjoy taking responsibility, work well both independently and collaboratively, and actively contribute to continuous improvement by taking initiatives and identifying development opportunities in your daily work.
