About the position
In the role of property technician, you have an independent and continuous responsibility for operation and corrective maintenance for approximately 300 apartments in Jönköping. You will have your daily starting point in Jönköping but belong to our team in Borås. You actively contribute to the overall results of the region and play an important role in ensuring that Sveafastigheter lives up to our core values - long-term, innovative, present, and businesslike.
Your tasks include, for example:
Receiving, managing, and addressing maintenance requests
Contact with our tenants
Routine rounds and troubleshooting for minor repairs and maintenance work (replacement of fridge/freezer/stove if applicable)
Orders and follow-ups of repairs and maintenance actions
Changing filters and general supervision of ventilation systems, heating systems, and heat pumps, as well as any plumbing work
Problem-solving of the property's technical systems, such as indoor climate, heating, and ventilation
Involvement in energy efficiency work
Supervision and rounds of the internal and external environment
Conducting apartment inspections.
About you
To thrive in the role of property technician with us, you need to appreciate the combination of service and real estate. You focus on our tenants' needs and act quickly and efficiently, with a good attitude as a natural part of your work. You enjoy creating comfort and building trusting relationships with our tenants. As a person, you are solution-oriented and have a good ability to plan and structure your workday effectively.
Formal requirements:
High school education in technology, knowledge of HVAC/control and regulation and/or electrical systems is advantageous
Several years of work experience in the real estate industry, construction, or related technical fields
Understanding of property management/technology
Driving license B
Basic IT skills and ability to familiarize yourself with digital systems
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
We consider it an advantage if you also meet:
Previous experience with electrical systems, HVAC, ventilation, and appliances
Previous experience as a facility manager with knowledge of SBA
Experience with the property system Vitec
Previous experience in operation and maintenance.
