Field Secretary for Preventive Team in Ronneby

As a field secretary, you will work closely with youth in their everyday lives – in schools, youth centers, on the streets, and on digital platforms – contributing to creating positive contexts and preventing social exclusion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the role entail?

As a field secretary, you will work proactively and build relationships with youth.

Your mission is to:

  • Establish contact and build trust with youth in their environments.
  • Conduct youth conversations and lead group meetings.
  • Implement youth services.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments.
  • Carry out information initiatives in schools and other forums on topics such as alcohol, drugs, and crime.
  • Collaborate with police, schools, leisure activities, and other actors within the framework of SSPF.
  • Be an active part of developing interventions without needs assessment (IUB) according to the new social services act.

The work is carried out in the evenings and weekends in youth environments where the need exists. It is estimated that you will work every other Friday or Saturday evening.

You will belong to the Family Advice and Support unit, which has a common CBT focus and consists of experienced and further educated colleagues with great commitment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree in social work
  • Experience in fieldwork or youth work (preferable).
  • Further education in MI, CBT, addiction issues, or crime (desirable).
  • The ability to create trust and build relationships with youth.
  • Confidence in working in various environments from classrooms to digital platforms.
  • Initiative, humility, and curiosity.
  • You thrive in a flexible work environment where the mission can change based on current societal needs, and you are not afraid to take space where needed.
  • A valid driver's license (B).
