Job Description

The current senior health consultant will be the project manager at 75% for 18 months.

We are now looking for someone who is passionate about enhancing seniors' health and making their daily lives meaningful. The position is 75%, and you will work closely with the current senior health consultant. If you desire a higher employment rate, it can be offered in another area.

Responsibilities

The goal is to strengthen health-promoting work, employing a motivating and supportive approach. In daily work, you will enhance the social, psychological, physical, and digital functional capacity of the senior target group. The working methods align with the new Social Services Act.

Preserving, strengthening, and developing the well-being of our seniors is a vital task, as is creating meeting places where seniors can maintain social contacts together. In the role of senior health consultant, you will organize activities and events for seniors in a pedagogical manner.

You are a positive, responsible, and flexible person who masters the Swedish language in both speech and writing and possesses digital skills. You are confident in your role as a senior health consultant regarding issues related to physical activities for our seniors. You are accustomed to working independently and drive the operations forward in an engaged and structured manner. You add value to the organization and, most importantly, for seniors by collaborating with various stakeholders. You are expected to develop activities both geographically and content-wise.

Digital skills for marketing, maintaining social media, digital meetings, local bookings, etc.

A crucial part is to collaborate internally within the municipality, externally with other public actors, and with non-profit organizations.

Qualifications

Relevant education in health, social work, or pedagogy, such as elder pedagogue, nursing assistant, social pedagogue, leisure pedagogue, or other equivalent academic background/experience.

We also welcome those with other similar education or experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.

Meritorious

We value experience in promoting health among the elderly. It is an advantage if you have worked from a holistic perspective that includes the four cornerstones of healthy aging: good eating habits, physical activity, social community, and meaningfulness.

You preferably have previous experience in leading and inspiring groups, for example, by conducting physical activities. Since marketing events is a central part of the job, we see it as a significant plus if you have experience in communicating and disseminating information.
