We are currently looking for someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant in eastern Blekinge!

What does the job of a personal assistant entail? 

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a disability. You help with the things in everyday life that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a big difference and help someone else's daily life function.

We have clients of different ages and with various disabilities. Your workplace is where the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help a person live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the most important job in the world. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. Regardless of your age, life situation, and background, you could be the assistant we are looking for.

We hope that you:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• can understand and be understood in Swedish.
• can work flexible hours - day, evening, and weekend. Some of our positions also require you to work nights (active or on-call).
• have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

Employment type: Hourly employment

Extent: part-time

Start date: Employment is ongoing.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a potential employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
