JOB DESCRIPTION

As a support pedagogue, you have in-depth knowledge and competence in the field. Your work involves motivating and supporting users in their work based on their individual needs. You are expected to create a meaningful, developing, and quality activity for the individual. In your work, you provide needs-based support so that users feel secure and are empowered in their potential for development. You can work both independently, in groups, and in collaboration with other professionals. Your employment also includes the ability to work at other workplaces either through collaborative shifts or joint planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed one of the following post-secondary education programs:

• Education at YH level with at least 200 higher vocational credits in a relevant field (e.g., support pedagogue training or YH psychiatry training)
• University education with at least 60 credits in a relevant field

We would like you to:

• Have a B driver's license.
• Speak and write Swedish fluently.
• Be a problem solver who sees opportunities instead of obstacles.
• Thrive in change and can adapt to new situations.
• Be structured and organized in your work.
• Be a team player who collaborates and shares knowledge.
• Have good communication skills, listen actively, and be clear.

It is a merit if you have education or experience in:

• Low-affect approach
• Clarifying pedagogy
• MI (Motivational Interviewing) or other conversation methodologies
• Salutogenic approach
• Service design

Or if you have worked with:

• Autism
• Psychiatry
• Intellectual disabilities
• Comorbidity
• NPF diagnoses (neuropsychiatric disabilities)
