Performance Marketing & Acquisition Manager

Gårdssällskapet was founded in 2013 to help food lovers get organic meat delivered from the farm to their door. Our farmers work with sustainable agriculture on Swedish organic farms where biodiversity and animal welfare thrive. Gårdssällskapet's operations are characterized by personal service, quality, and our customers love really good food. ABOUT THE POSITION

Gårdssällskapet is an online farm shop selling organic meat boxes. We buy meat from the organic farm and process it in-house before delivering it to consumers. We also sell Swedish delicacies from small food artisans such as cheese, jam, and charcuterie, and the products we sell are organic, small-scale, or wild-produced. The entire company currently has around 30 employees, and at the headquarters in Sundbyberg, about 20 people work in areas such as purchasing, sales, development, and customer service, and you will have daily contact with several of these functions. As Performance Marketing & Acquisition Manager, you will be a key player in driving our new customer sales, where you will have overall responsibility for increasing the influx of new customers, primarily through our digital channels. You will belong to a smaller team of 4 people, which includes an Online Merchandiser, a Product Owner, a CRM Specialist, and your immediate manager, the CCO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have overall responsibility and work operationally to increase the influx of new customers, focusing on driving relevant traffic, improving conversion rates, and maximizing business results. Based on our campaign plan, you will be responsible for paid marketing and conversion work on the website, and you will serve as an important link between the performance agency, marketing, and sales, ensuring that all efforts are aligned and directed towards common goals. You will continuously follow up on results, identify improvement opportunities, and translate insights into concrete sales initiatives. In addition to working with new customer sales in our digital channels, you will also be responsible for identifying and developing other relevant channels for new customer acquisition. This may involve sales through associations, corporate collaborations, local partnerships, or other initiatives that contribute to our growth. The role also includes evaluating the potential, profitability, and scalability of these channels, as well as initiating and testing new sales setups.

In the role, you will for example…

  • Own and drive the campaign roadmap for paid channels such as Meta, Google, display, etc., ensuring that campaigns are launched as planned and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Act as the contact person for the performance agency and drive the work with them, where you set roadmaps, decide on actions, and demand accountability for the agency's work.
  • Set up campaigns and campaign codes in CMS/e-commerce platform.
  • Conduct analyses of customer behaviors and conversion flows on the site, as well as act on improvement opportunities in the customer journey and optimize landing pages and campaign modules.
  • Ensure a data-driven approach by using relevant KPIs (traffic, ROAS, conversion rate, sales per channel, etc.).
  • Conduct ongoing sales follow-up and result reporting, as well as be responsible for the paid marketing budget.

In addition, you have…

  • A post-secondary education in marketing, sales, or e-commerce.
  • At least a few years of work experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, and e-commerce-driven work with proven experience in driving and creating results.
  • A strong understanding of the digital customer journey, attribution, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience in driving cross-functional projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Documented experience working with and analyzing data in tools such as GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Looker Studio, Tag Manager, VWO, Optimizely, Convert, and experience conducting A/B tests.
