Would you like to step into an important and exciting role as a procurement officer at Sveriges Radio?
About the position
As a procurement officer at Sveriges Radio, you will become a valuable part of a mission that is crucial to society. You help ensure that the organization has access to the goods and services required to fulfill our public service mission.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a cheerful, engaged, and collaborative team responsible for all purchases not related to program content – everything from technical equipment and contracts to consulting services in various areas. Who handles which procurement is partly based on area responsibility, but we work together to support the entire organization. You can expect to procure broadly, creating a varied and developing workday.
You will be part of a team with three other procurement officers and report to the head of procurement (department head for Legal, Procurement, and Language Services). With us, you will encounter an engaged and unpretentious culture where collaboration and solution focus are self-evident.
You will work with
- Driving and conducting procurements according to LOU – from needs and market analysis to requirements specification, negotiation, contract signing, and follow-up of purchases and suppliers.
- Closely collaborating with internal clients in various parts of the organization.
- Being a support to colleagues in procurement and purchasing matters.
- Contributing to the development of working methods and processes.
About you
You are a curious, interested, and responsible person who thrives in a role where you are challenged, developed, and take significant personal responsibility. You have a drive to continuously develop your skills, try new things, and can balance initiative with responsiveness. You are unpretentious, enjoy helping others, and care about good collaboration both within and outside the team. You have good communication skills and appreciate the social aspect of work. As a representative of Sveriges Radio, you highly value business acumen, integrity, and accuracy. You also have a genuine interest in Sveriges Radio's operations and our public service mission.
We are looking for someone who has
- Excellent ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Relevant post-secondary education in procurement or another equivalent education relevant to the position.
- Good knowledge of LOU.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in independently driving procurements is an advantage, but we also welcome more junior candidates with experience in conducting procurements.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period, located in our radio house in Stockholm. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. Would you like to join our exciting journey and step into an important role as a procurement officer? Then you should not wait too long to submit your application, no later than February 15, 2026. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously.
