Dibber was established in Sweden in 2017 and currently operates preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and open preschools. Dibber's headquarters is located in Sollentuna, and operations are found in large parts of Sweden.

Dibber in Sweden is part of the Norwegian free school group Dibber, which was started and is owned by two dedicated educators, Randi and Hans Jacob Sundby. The first preschool was started in 2003 in the small town where Randi grew up. Today, Dibber operates more than 600 preschools in nine countries around the world.

Substitute teachers needed at Dibber Daggkåpan preschool!

At Dibber preschools, all children should experience how important they are, feel seen, heard, and taken seriously. We place great emphasis on playful learning, interaction, and “I can.” Every child should succeed at something every day.

About the role

As a substitute teacher at Daggkåpan preschool, you will be contacted as needed, meaning we can reach out to you from 7:30 AM on the same day that the need arises. We expect you to work independently and follow the instructions you receive from the regular staff. You are an active adult, listening and being responsive to what the children want to convey.

About the preschool

Daggkåpan preschool is located at Sickla Allé 13 in Nacka and has about 60 children distributed across 4 departments. Around the corner, we have Nacka Nature Reserve, Hammarbybacken, nice parks, and good transportation links. The preschool is adjacent to nature, so excursions are a recurring feature at Daggkåpan.

Your qualifications

• Preferably experience working with children
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• You are an active adult with the children and can take safety measures

Personal characteristics

You are a relationship-oriented person who sees each individual child. You listen and are responsive to what the children want to convey. You can also create engagement and participate in the children's play and development.

You are solution-oriented, flexible, and cooperative. You can work independently and take responsibility. We are looking for someone who is a good, warm, and caring adult. Playful, ambitious, permissive, and clear are key words for our staff. You can identify with Dibber's values.
