We are looking for an engaged and flexible personal assistant who wants to work extra with a lively woman living with her husband in Södermalm, Stockholm. She has an active and varied life, which includes walks, visits to museums and exhibitions, sports events, swimming, physiotherapy, theater, and café visits. She also loves to travel when the opportunity arises! For the right person, there is the possibility to start as a part-time employee with about two fixed shifts per week. From mid-March to mid-June, the position will transition to a full-time substitute position (100%), with a chance to continue working during the summer.

As a personal assistant, you will among other things:

• Assist with personal hygiene and care.
• Assist with lifting and transfers.
• Help with tube feeding and cleaning.
• Participate in pool swimming – swimming skills are a requirement.
• Lead and read texts, as well as advocate during healthcare contacts.
• Assist with various daily activities such as travel and social events.

You speak, write, and read fluent Swedish, as the job requires a lot of communication and reading, for example, reading text on TV and advocating for the woman in healthcare-related conversations. Previous experience in similar work is meritorious but not a requirement; the chemistry between you and the client is most important. Good physical condition is important as the job may include lifting and transfers without aids.

The position is a part-time employment as needed with two fixed shifts per week until mid-March, when it transitions to a full-time substitute position (100%) until mid-June. If everything goes well, there are good opportunities for summer substitute work next year. Working hours vary throughout the day, including weekends, and may also involve awake nights.

Conditions for Employment: If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and that you have the right to work in Sweden. To be able to sign your employment contract and upcoming time reports, you need to have a Bank ID.
