Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Do you want to make a difference in the everyday lives of Stockholmers and be part of an exciting and growing district? With us, you will develop and grow with the task alongside knowledgeable colleagues in an environment with a good balance between work and leisure. A good reception and equality are important to us. Our core values of responsibility, accessibility, and courage help us continuously develop our working methods and approaches. Together, we work to ensure that Enskede-Årsta-Vantör is a safe district to grow up, live, and age in.
Welcome to us
We are now looking for a treatment provider with experience who wants to contribute their expertise for a temporary position until the end of 2025/2026.
If you are a stable and self-sufficient person interested in the target group and a new context, you are warmly welcome to join us at the Relationship Violence Center.
We offer
- Flexible hours
- Wellness allowance
- Close proximity to managers
- Professional development in domestic violence
Your role as a treatment provider
You will be part of a team with six other family treatment providers. As a family treatment provider, you will work with qualified support conversations for adult victims of violence and perpetrators, as well as children who have experienced violence and where one or both guardians are in contact with RVC.
You will work independently in individual conversations and together with colleagues in group activities. You will have support from highly competent colleagues who utilize each other's experiences and knowledge in the work. The role requires good collaboration skills with colleagues within social services, such as social workers in the Relationship Violence Team and BoU, but also with external partners such as the police.
RVC Southeast offers both individual support conversations and group treatment for victims and perpetrators of violence. The position also includes support during the legal process in criminal cases for adults who have reported violence in close relationships. The interventions for children include Trappan conversations and 'here and now' conversations.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- a degree in social work
- experience working within social services
- documented experience and knowledge of domestic violence
- good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form
Desirable qualifications include:
- Current experience working with support conversations/treatment
- Training in the Trappan model, ATV, and/or Utväg Skaraborg's group treatment for victims of violence.
- Experience working with children who have experienced violence in close relationships.
As a person, you are secure in yourself, calm, and stable, and you communicate clearly. You have personal maturity and a positive outlook, and you can combine expertise with an understanding of what it is like to work in a politically governed organization. For us, it is important that you have a humble approach and are flexible and stable, as the challenges of the target group require this. It is important that you can work independently but also that you can and want to collaborate with colleagues, management, and other partners when necessary. You are structured and relationship-building, and you have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations.
Hello from your future manager Susanne!
As a manager, I take great responsibility but also give a lot of responsibility to you as an employee. By working based on trust, I give you the space to find solutions to complex problems on your own. For me, it is important that we have a creative climate in the workplace, where we dare to try new things, make mistakes, and then learn and develop. It is important that we have fun at work.
Other
When new social services legislation comes into force, it may lead to changes in assignments in the future.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability, and interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the process.
