Summer Job as a Personal Assistant Outside Rydsgård

We are now looking for a summer substitute for one of our clients outside Rydsgård.

Our client has an acquired brain injury after a stroke and is wheelchair-bound. The client has a great interest in music and sports. Music is often played at home, and the client appreciates when assistants sing. With double staffing, there is room for outings and activities as well as training to maintain and strengthen mental and physical functions. During the summer, you will be part of a large, wonderful team where everyone cares about a good atmosphere and collaboration. Personal chemistry and well-being are important to us.

Transfers are done with a wheelchair and lift. Medication is managed by everyone in the team. It is a requirement to be able to work in a low-arousal manner, and we provide you with tools and support to work tailored to the client's individual needs. Previous experience with epilepsy is desirable. You will receive training and introduction on-site at home so that you are confident in your role as an assistant before starting your shifts.

A driver's license is required. The client has their own car that you, as an assistant, will drive during working hours.

The workplace is not connected to public transport, so access to a personal car is required.

Shopping and household tasks are included in the job.

There is a cat in the home.

Working Hours

• Working hours are scheduled during all hours of the day with shifts in the morning, evening, and night.

Your Profile

To feel secure in the role, you should preferably:

• Have experience working in a low-arousal manner.
• Have previous experience in healthcare.
• Have a driver's license.

Other

• Experience with transfers using a lift is desirable.
• Experience with epilepsy is desirable.
