About the position
As Group Accounting Manager at VBG Group, you will play a central role in an international, publicly listed industrial group with clear values and long-term ownership. You will be responsible for the group’s reporting, consolidation, quality assurance, and become a key person in developing structures, processes, and systems that support VBG Group's continued growth. The position is based at the headquarters in Trollhättan, and we offer the possibility of hybrid work.

• Lead and own the entire group reporting process (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Be responsible for consolidation and quality assurance of financial data
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations for listed companies
• Prepare interim reports and annual accounts
• Manage lease accounting according to IFRS 16, including work in House of Control
• Develop and maintain the financial handbook and accounting principles
• Set timelines for budgets and forecasts from a reporting perspective
• Be a requirements setter and contact person for finance functions globally
• Participate in internal control work and audits of subsidiaries
• Support the Group CFO with analyses and decision-making materials
• Drive the development and efficiency of processes and systems

About you
You are a secure and stable person with a strong ability to create structure, drive processes, and build trust in an international environment. You combine technical expertise in IFRS and group accounting with an unpretentious and collaborative working style. Your communication skills and your interest in the business behind the numbers allow you to see the bigger picture and contribute with analysis and development.

Qualifications and experience:

• Academic degree in finance
• Solid experience in group accounting in a listed company
• Very good IFRS knowledge
• Independent responsibility for consolidation and year-end processes
• Experience from international groups with subsidiaries globally
• Experience from industrial operations or auditing is an advantage
• Experience with group reporting systems, preferably COGNOS
