About the job

As a pension administrator in recovery, you will work with public authority duties in accordance with applicable regulations and processes. Handling recovery means that you investigate and reclaim incorrectly paid benefits from the Swedish Pensions Agency. You are responsible for effectively and legally securely investigating, assessing, analyzing, and making and implementing decisions regarding recovery. The work includes contacts with beneficiaries and other external parties both by phone and email.

To get into your role as a pension administrator, you will receive relevant training and guidance from supervisors and subject matter experts. The position is located within the recovery unit with possible placement in Växjö, Visby, Luleå, Halmstad, Karlstad, or Gävle.

You can work independently and are structured. You have analytical skills that allow you to understand and evaluate complex issues and make well-founded decisions. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals and contribute to a good working environment. We place great importance on your personal qualities and suitability for the role.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Experience in processing, for example, general pension and housing supplement or other benefits within the Swedish Pensions Agency
  • A relevant academic education or relevant work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience in recovery processing
  • Experience in public authority duties
  • Experience in interpreting and applying regulations

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period.

The Swedish Pensions Agency is responsible for the general pension and provides information about the entire pension system. Each year, we pay out approximately 415 billion kronor to 2.3 million pensioners, conduct about 911,000 fund switches, and send out 8 million orange envelopes. We have about 25 million digital customer contacts per year. We are approximately 1,700 employees in eight locations, from Luleå in the north to Halmstad in the south.
