Do you want a summer job where you can really make a difference in people's lives? We are currently seeking summer substitutes for the care administration in Värnamo municipality for the period week 25–32.

If you are interested in starting as early as spring, it may be possible and in many cases advantageous.

Working in elderly and disability care is not just a job – it is an opportunity to contribute to quality of life and create meaningful moments for others. Our operations are centrally located in Värnamo, but also in our outskirts such as Forsheda, Bredaryd, Bor, and Rydaholm.

Within elderly and disability care, you can work in the following areas:

• Special Housing
• Home Care
• Personal Assistance
• Group Homes
• Service Housing
• Housing Support

Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute with us, you will have a varied and social job. You will have the opportunity every day to make a difference by providing support and service based on the individual needs and wishes of the users. Your tasks may include:

• Personal care and delegated healthcare tasks.
• Service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping.
• Promoting social interaction and creating safe relationships.

We are looking for you who want to work as:

• Personal Assistant.
• Support Assistant or Support Worker in disability care and psychiatry.
• Nursing Assistant or Care Assistant in elderly care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are 18 years old when the employment begins and who has a genuine interest in working with people. You have a positive attitude towards your work and see the importance of good cooperation among colleagues. The profession also involves working alone, which requires you to take your own initiative, be attentive to others, and be responsible.

Education in care and welfare as well as experience in similar operations is advantageous but not a requirement – the most important thing is your personal qualities and your willingness to learn. You must master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, in order to communicate with users, but also to document events and other information in the work.

The work in home care requires that you can cycle, and it is advantageous if you have a B driver's license.

We prioritize applicants who can work for a longer continuous period. (weeks 25-32) Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
