Our Operations
VO MHR is a department with consolidated expertise and highly specialized care in the fields of internal medicine, endocrinology-diabetes, nephrology, gastroenterology, dermatology, and rheumatology. We have about 450 employees and provide care in the form of inpatient care, day care, outpatient services, and dialysis.
In the section for Gastroenterology and Hepatology, we provide specialized and highly specialized care for patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and bile ducts. Our department has space for about 10 patients. We have a large outpatient and day care service as well as an endoscopy unit. Consultation services are provided throughout the hospital, as well as telephone consultations with primary care and other regions. As a university hospital, we actively participate in the education of students, doctors in training, and other staff groups.
We are now looking for a new resident physician for the section.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and see a future as a gastroenterologist/hepatologist. You have good medical knowledge and a genuine interest in the subject. Active research or interest in research and development work is an advantage. You have an interest in and want to actively participate in teaching medical students and other staff groups.
As a person, you are responsible, willing to work, and have good communication skills. Good collaboration skills with all staff groups are a given. In the recruitment process, we place great emphasis on personal qualities. Previous experience in gastroenterology and hepatology is an advantage.
We Offer
A permanent full-time position. Start date by agreement. The work includes ward, outpatient, and consultation work. On-call work is included. We have a very good collaborative climate in the section, and as a junior doctor, you can always count on good supervision.
