Our Operations

The Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NIVA) is a highly specialized intensive care unit at one of Sweden's largest hospitals. We care for children and adults with, among other things, traumatic injuries, cerebral hemorrhages, and other injuries affecting the brain and spinal cord. NIVA has 8 care places and we are about 100 employees. We have a good work climate and close collaboration with other intensive care units. We offer you a very exciting job in highly specialized neuro intensive care where you have a unique opportunity to grow and develop in your role.

Your Mission

As a team leader at NIVA, you are responsible for the daily operational activities. You lead and coordinate the work in the team with a focus on patient safety, quality, and efficient resource utilization. The role involves close collaboration with the department head, deputy department heads, staffing, doctors, and other professionals within the operation. You report directly to the department's managers.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you, an intensive care nurse, who is responsible, secure, and engaged and has an easy time collaborating both with your own workgroup and with external contacts. The work requires both sensitivity and decisiveness. You have a great ability to drive and complete tasks. Personal qualities will be highly valued.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position as an intensive care nurse at NIVA and a role as a team leader for 3 years. You will work rotating day/night and weekends. We prefer that you work full-time.
