The purpose of the municipal association Lystkom is to develop collaborations in various areas. Lystkom is responsible for the municipalities' customer service, telephony, e-service cards, as well as IT operations and technical support.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an IT support technician based in Åsele. Our customers are within the municipal operations, such as administration and care. Lystkom is responsible for the operation and support of the IT environment in the municipalities of Lycksele, Storuman, and Åsele.

As an IT support technician at Lystkom, you will work in first-line support where you are the face towards the users. This includes a broad responsibility that largely consists of handling incoming cases in the case management system as well as phone support. In addition to IT support, other areas of responsibility may also arise, such as handling computers, tablets, and other technical devices. Common tasks include access administration, handling SITHS cards, troubleshooting applications and hardware. In Åsele, you will also be responsible for part-time staffing of the reception and assisting physical visitors who wish to contact the municipal organization. In case of absence and work peaks, you may also staff the common switchboard. You will receive calls, messages, provide basic information, and handle cases.

ABOUT YOU

The work is varied, and you will encounter many different types of challenges. Therefore, you need to have good planning skills, a sense of service, social competence, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied work pace, is attentive and pedagogical, and has a natural approach to working with people.

We see that you have good communication skills via various channels such as phone, physical meetings, and digital tools. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious. You should have very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have experience in IT operations and technical support and/or a strong technical interest and understanding of technology. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Lystkom consists of about 30 employees in the five member municipalities of Lycksele, Storuman, Vilhelmina, Åsele, and Dorotea. Lystkom IT consists of about 15 people based in Lycksele, Storuman, Tärnaby, and Åsele.
