Boliden is a high-tech metal company with its own mines and smelters that works long-term to ensure society's access to base and precious metals – from ore (minerals) extraction to the production and delivery of high-quality metal to the industry.

Today, approximately 6000 people work at Boliden and operations are conducted in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, and Portugal.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include managing incoming cases from the entire group in our case management system and via phone. You are expected to solve technical problems and perform administrative tasks to facilitate the entire organization to work efficiently.

Examples of tasks:

Manage daily IT support cases and assist users with technical issues.
Update and maintain documentation and guides for users and internal processes.
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure users receive quick and effective assistance.
Provide users training and support to effectively use various IT systems and applications.

Your Background/Attributes

Of course, you have a burning interest in IT and technology. In this, you also have determination and a desire to develop and continuously learn new things in the field. You take personal responsibility for your tasks, for the team, and of course for your own development. We place great importance on your ability to be service-minded with a focus on providing the best experience in all situations, technically but above all socially. This also requires a very good communicative and pedagogical ability.

We are looking for someone who has:

High school education
Good logical thinking and troubleshooting methodology
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish
Experience in service professions and customer interaction, preferably from support or similar.

Information and Contact

This position is a consulting assignment via Wikan Personal, and you will be employed by Wikan and leased to Boliden. The goal is for the employment to transition to Boliden after approximately 12 months. The work takes place on-site at Boliden's office in Boliden.
