Your workplace is the Primary School Administration and the central student health in Borås City. Here, you will be part of a cross-professional team consisting of unit managers, school doctors, medically responsible leaders, psychologically responsible leaders, business developers, and system managers. The head of student health will be your closest supervisor.
You will have your office together with your colleagues in the central student health, including your school doctor colleague, which provides good conditions for collaboration and collegial support.
School Doctor at the Primary School Administration
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a school doctor with us, you have a varied and meaningful assignment with interventions that are both consultative and diagnostic. You regularly meet students at our schools and serve as medical support to the school nurses.
Focusing on the student's ability to achieve educational goals, you work with a holistic view and have the ability to analyze student health at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You collaborate closely with the unit manager, MLA, and PLA and provide advisory support to other professionals within student health, such as school counselors, school psychologists, and special educators.
The assignment also includes participation in various networks and collaboration with external actors. We care about your professional development and will work together to create an individual competence development plan.

QualificationsWe are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist training in pediatric and adolescent medicine, child and adolescent psychiatry, or general medicine.
We would like you to:
- be engaged, professional, and take independent responsibility for your work
- have good communication skills and can adapt your approach to the person you meet
- have broad medical competence in diagnostics and treatment, as well as good knowledge of children's and adolescents' development and maturity, adolescent medicine, neuropsychiatry, disabilities, and vaccination issues
- have an interest in and want to contribute to developing health-promoting work

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
