In preschool, after-school care, and school in Berg Municipality, well-educated and engaged staff work to provide the municipality's children and youth with the best conditions for lifelong learning. And now we are looking for a new colleague for our after-school care in Åsarna!

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in after-school care with us in Berg Municipality, you will work together with your colleagues to design meaningful teaching in after-school care for our students, based on their interests and needs. In your work, you will base your activities on the compensatory and supplementary assignments of after-school care. You will be part of a team responsible for the pedagogical activities and the development of the school's break activities. All staff at the school are involved in systematic quality work, and you see collegial learning as a natural part of your assignment.

As a teacher focused on after-school care, we assume you are familiar with the central content and competencies in the new curriculum texts for after-school care and that you can base your planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities on these.

We also need you who want to work as a substitute within school and after-school activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with a focus on after-school care or who has other educational training or experience that the employer deems equivalent and relevant for the position. We see that you are well acquainted with the national governing documents for after-school care. If you have previous experience in the profession and from systematic development work, we consider it an advantage. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Berg Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality. Knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture is therefore an advantage.

As a person, you are secure and stable. Furthermore, you have a good ability to effectively take responsibility, plan, organize, and prioritize your work. We also see that you can create and maintain good relationships with others, are attentive, and have good empathetic skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability based on these qualities.
