Your New Job

We are now looking for a teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in mathematics and science subjects. You will be part of a team of teachers where you together plan and are responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 7-9 in mathematics and science where you educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others.

At Lugnviksskolan, you will work in the municipality's most modern premises and have the opportunity for development together with your colleagues. The school has a present student health team with special educators, counselors, school nurses, and school psychologists who are involved in the work around the students.

In your assignment, it is also relevant to have a mentorship for some of our students. In your role as a mentor, you have a specific responsibility for a group of students, which allows you to follow them more closely in their study development and personal maturity.

Your Skills

• Certified teacher with qualifications to teach mathematics and science subjects for grades 7-9
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits

• It is advantageous if you have previous professional experience in schools
• You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and can implement them in daily work
• You have a strong interest in developing teaching and supporting students in their learning process
• You have a great interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to thoughts on development
• You have good computer skills, and it is advantageous if you have worked with digital systems aimed at schools, for example: Google Workspace, IST Dexter
