Bläshammar School is located north of central Varberg in a quiet and leafy area. It is a F-6 school organized into grades F-2 and 3-6. The school's after-school care consists of four departments: Havet, Båten, Seglet, and Fyren.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Varberg's municipal schools have common goals, strategies, and processes to create a school for all and strengthen motivation for learning. Together, we contribute to fulfilling the school's mission through long-term development and improvement efforts focused on teaching, knowledge, and learning.

Teaching is conducted in a democratic form and prepares students for further studies and career choices. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence. You work systematically to improve teaching quality in a learning organization.

You recognize the value of working collegially towards common goals and visions in the school's development and improvement work and test and reassess methods in your teaching based on scientific foundations and proven experience. You shape differentiated teaching so that all students encounter an inclusive approach and are given equal opportunities for knowledge and learning.

The preschool and primary school administration provides municipal joint competence development initiatives during the school years. The content and form of these initiatives are based on the preschool and primary school administration's operational plan, the schools' local development plans, and identified needs that emerge from systematic quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed teacher for younger ages with qualifications in Swedish and mathematics.
