Research Position at the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology

At the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at Sahlgrenska Academy, extensive research and teaching are conducted across broad areas of knowledge - from molecule to human. The activities consist of five sections: pharmacology, physiology, health and rehabilitation, clinical neuroscience, and psychiatry and neurochemistry.

At the Section of Clinical Neuroscience, education and research are conducted in the following areas: neurology, neurosurgery, clinical neurophysiology, ophthalmology, rehabilitation medicine, and laboratory neuroscience.

The Department of Neuroscience and Physiology is now seeking a researcher to be placed at the Section of Clinical Neuroscience.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities primarily include research in rehabilitation medicine. The responsibilities also include teaching in rehabilitation medicine. Supervision of doctoral students may be included.

Qualifications

Docent competence in rehabilitation medicine is a requirement with experience from clinical practice in the subject. It is advantageous to have supervised doctoral candidates to completion of their dissertation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment for 11 months, 100% full-time, with placement at the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology. Start date: as soon as possible or according to agreement.
