We are located in the scenic Marks municipality with good communications to Gothenburg, Borås, and Varberg. We have approximately 10,000 registered patients and are one of three Närhälsan health centers in the municipality. Together, we take joint responsibility for our work environment, have good cohesion, and a good collaboration between professions. About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and include the general medical field where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic for diabetes patients where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse with additional training in Diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as a Diabetes nurse and/or from working in primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Travel in the job occurs, a B driver's license is required.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
