About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Olskroken Health Center. Here, 35 dedicated employees work in various professional categories such as doctors, district nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

Currently, we have about 14,000 registered patients of various ages, and together we work to meet our patients' needs in the best way possible. In addition to standard health center services, our patients are offered a comprehensive range of care including doctor appointments, nurse consultations, and scheduled appointments with district nurses. In the same building as the health center, there is also a youth clinic, rehabilitation, dental care, and a pharmacy.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and cover the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treatment-oriented in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both acute and planned activities. You will largely work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally within the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Training future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care and/or have supervisor training of 7.5 credits, but we also welcome you if you are newly graduated.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you will meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We hope you have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates for a phone interview. After that, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
