About Us

Närhälsan Torslanda Health Center is a well-functioning workplace with competent staff and satisfied patients, working with everything from preventive health work to acute care.

Today, we are about 45 employees from various professional groups working at the health center, and we have approximately 17,100 registered patients of all ages - all equally important to us.

The health center offers medical consultations, testing, district nurse consultations, child health care, and also clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation, hypertension, as well as elderly and dementia care. We have a rehabilitation coordinator and care planning nurse, as well as a psychosocial team consisting of a psychologist, social worker, and care coordinator. We have a close collaboration with the municipality and are responsible for doctors in municipal housing and patients receiving home care.

We actively work to develop the business with continuous improvements where everyone is involved. Therefore, we have frequent staff meetings and professional meetings where we collectively work on and follow up ongoing work and projects.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range and encompass the field of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in primary care, both via phone, digital health meetings, and at the clinic.

The work is carried out through both acute and planned activities. You will work largely independently, and your own clinic may become relevant, where you both treat and follow up on patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues in the unit and cross-professionally in the team. Together with the health center management, all employees are encouraged to develop and drive the business forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore mentoring students is also included in your role at the health center.

About You

You are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience working in a health center and/or experience in regional or municipal primary care, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate.

Meritorious for the position is that you have documented experience in driving development work, including digitalization, or that you have an interest in this type of work. It is desirable if you have previous experience working as a project manager for the implementation of new working methods.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you have a good attitude, are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing, and you are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development.

About the Recruitment Process

The selection is made in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers - this is to help us understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
