About the job
Your tasks include assessing and treating patients of all ages. Common conditions among patients you will encounter as an occupational therapist include: reduced hand function, pain, neurology, cognitive impact, and mental health issues. The work also involves prescribing aids and certificates for housing adaptations. Together with the patient, a personal rehabilitation plan is created.
The work is conducted at the clinic, digitally, and through home visits. Patient treatment occurs both individually and in groups.
The job involves close collaboration with other professionals, both at your own clinic and with other partners. You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the manager for the development of the operations in an ongoing improvement process.
About you
You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in the profession and primary care is an advantage, but we also welcome new graduates. If you have supervisor training and/or further education, that is also a merit.
We are looking for someone who is attentive, has good communication skills, and can identify individuals' unique needs as you meet many different people. Additionally, you see collaboration with colleagues and other partners as a natural and important part of the work, which you perform with commitment and professionalism. You can plan your work effectively and in an organized manner based on the goals of the operations. As the workload varies and unforeseen events can occur, we see that you are flexible and independent.
You place great importance on good reception and always strive to treat customers, patients, and colleagues with respect and care. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values: Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.
Other
Travel in the service may occur. A B driver's license is required.
Interviews will be held continuously.
Welcome with your application!
About the recruitment process
The selection process takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite candidates for a phone interview. Then the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the clinic.
We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
