About our open position

Are you ready for new challenges? You will have exciting and varied tasks where you will participate in the daily work on the ward and collaborate closely with the care operations and teamwork within the function.

Pharmaceutical care means that we handle parts of the daily medication work on the wards.

Your tasks:

• Ensure that the patient's prescribed medications are available on the ward
• Prepare the patient's medications for discharge
• Prepare medications, e.g., infusions and injections
• Educate and inform nurses
• Provide support in medication-related questions for the ward's staff
• If necessary, provide medication information to the patient before discharge

About us

The VGR SÄS Pharmacy is part of the regional hospital pharmacy and is responsible for the hospital's overall medication work. Here, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants work. The responsibilities include medication supply, pharmaceutical care, medication management, assortment work, and information about medications, as well as the production of inpatient doses. We also prepare certain cytostatics and antibiotics. The pharmacy has several regional assignments. We work process-oriented in teams with daily improvement work.

Your profile

We are looking for a licensed pharmacy technician with a few years of professional experience. Experience working in healthcare and/or hospital pharmacy operations is an advantage. You have a good ability to collaborate in teams with various professional categories and find it easy to create new contacts and good relationships. You are used to working independently, taking initiatives, and have the ability to see how workflows should be structured and organized for your efforts to provide the best possible benefit.

As pharmaceutical care is an area under continuous development, we appreciate flexibility and a strong interest in operational development, as well as the ability to identify improvement opportunities in your daily work. You should also be able to express yourself easily in speech and writing and be able to disseminate information and knowledge in a pedagogical manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
