The Smedjebacken Health Center has about 7100 registered inhabitants. We conduct medical consultations, laboratory tests, medical advice, district nurse consultations, and we have specialist nurses with their own clinics for Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Asthma/COPD, memory clinic, BVC, midwife clinic, as well as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, counseling clinics, addiction clinics, and care coordinators for mental health with their own clinic at the health center. The staffing consists of many different professional categories with broad competence, and collaboration and utilization of each other's different skills are an important part of the daily work. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.

District Nurse/Nurse Smedjebacken Health Center

Primary care is the hub of healthcare and should provide good and close care. Now you have the chance to become part of our team at Smedjebacken Health Center. We are looking for a nurse, preferably with further education in open health and medical care. Do you enjoy working in a clinic and providing medical advice via the Tele-Q phone system? We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in developing the operations. Welcome to our team!

The daily work consists of providing medical advice through the Tele-Q phone system, regular tasks at the medical clinic, district nurse/specialist consultations, and assessing care needs and the ability to refer patients to the appropriate level of care if necessary. An important part of the job is collaboration with other units within both the region and the municipality.

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Further education in open health and medical care.
• Experience from primary care and working in our journal system, Cosmic.

It is desirable if you have an interest in having your own specialist clinic for blood pressure or diabetes. As a person, you are meticulous and responsible. You have good initiative and planning skills. You are resilient to stress and enjoy working in a clinic and providing medical advice via the Tele-Q phone system. We place great importance on your personal suitability and ability to collaborate, where a good attitude towards patients and colleagues is included.
