The Planning and Finance Department supports the entire operational area of planning, finance, and procurement, both strategically and operationally. We work with operational and financial management through operational planning, internal governance and control, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, follow-up, and analysis. In the area of procurement and purchasing, we support the entire university's purchasing process.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a Procurement Officer with a focus on Contract Management, you will ensure that direct procurements and other procurements, orders, and purchases are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and framework agreements.

You will manage the university's agreements by monitoring expired agreements and initiating and implementing contract extensions, and you will work independently and commercially in various types of direct procurements and other purchasing and contract-related issues.

In this role, you will be responsible for following up on suppliers fulfilling their commitments in accordance with agreed terms through ongoing dialogue with both ordering units and suppliers. The role also includes conducting spend analyses and being part of the university's work to develop e-commerce. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the university's other procurement officers and requirement setters as well as e-commerce managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in a relevant field such as economics, law, purchasing, contract law, or other education that, together with relevant experience, is deemed equivalent.

You have some years of experience in procurement or purchasing work where you have independently conducted various types of direct procurements or worked with contract follow-up. You are well acquainted with the Public Procurement Act and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.

Meritorious

For this position, experience with direct procurements or contract follow-up for public operations is an advantage. Experience with the Mercell TendSign system, having worked with the e-commerce system Proceedo, or experience in developing e-commerce work within public operations is also beneficial.
