About the job

In the role of Technical Salesperson / Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the business with both existing key customers and new customers within modernization, upgrades, and new elevator installations in Södermanland and Östergötland and surrounding areas.

The role involves long-term and strategic customer responsibility where you act as a central contact point between the customer and the organization. You will work systematically with customer engagement, set clear goals, and drive the business through the entire process – from needs analysis and quotation to closure, follow-up, and further development of the collaboration.

You have clear business responsibility and work to develop profitable and sustainable customer relationships over time. The position involves travel within the region.

Your tasks

  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with key customers
  • Act as the customer's primary contact person in contract, maintenance, and business matters
  • Identify customer needs and present technically and economically sustainable elevator solutions
  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closure and handover
  • Actively engage new customers according to a structured plan and set goals
  • Write quotations, negotiate, and close deals
  • Work with long-term financial responsibility, including customer development and profitability
  • Collaborate closely with technicians, project managers, and other internal functions
  • Work systematically with CRM, pipeline, forecasts, and follow-up

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in the elevator industry or a related technical field, such as a technical salesperson, project manager, or elevator technician, who wants to take clear business and customer responsibility.

You likely have:

  • Relevant experience in sales, project management, or another business-related role in the industry
  • Good understanding of building technical environments and elevator systems
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally with customer relationships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good digital skills, including CRM and administrative systems
  • Driver's license (B)
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

  • Technical or commercial education at the upper secondary or post-secondary level

As a person, you are business-driven, relationship-building, and structured. You enjoy taking responsibility, working long-term, and representing both the customer internally and the company externally.

Employment and recruitment process

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Employment takes place directly with our client, and the role includes a company car. Start date is according to agreement, considering any notice period.
