Your tasks
The position involves a varied job in an organization where reception, structure, and collaboration are central. As part of our ambitions with the new social services act, we are enhancing our work with service, reception, and accessibility within social services. You will be an important part of this as you are one of the first people our residents meet. It is your responsibility to receive, welcome, and guide visitors to the various services within social services. You will handle incoming calls and manage and register mail and cases.
In addition, you will also provide administrative support to caseworkers and managers. You will work closely with colleagues within the administration and contribute to ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. As we are constantly developing our working methods, we also see that you are curious and want to be involved in improving the service.
Your competence
You thrive in meeting people and can adapt your communication depending on who you are talking to. Your reception is incredibly important, and therefore you provide information in a professional and service-oriented manner. Sometimes the conversations can be challenging, but you remain calm, clear, and focused on finding solutions. You take responsibility for your work and enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and other parts of the organization for the best possible support.
You have completed secondary education and have good computer skills. You have recent experience in service-oriented work where customer contact has been a focus, as well as experience in administrative work in a politically governed organization. It is easy for you to communicate clearly and effectively in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
It is a plus if you have:
- Experience working within social services and in the operational system LifeCare
- Experience working in a contact center, reception, or customer service
- Training in low-impact reception
- Knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Social Services Act, and the Parental Code
- Experience in analysis and follow-up based on data and statistics

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.
In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
