We are looking for a Technical Preparer for our client VSM in Västerås – a role for you who want to contribute to smooth workflows and optimize production work.

As a Technical Preparer, you will have a varied and central position between the customer and production. You will have ongoing customer contact, prepare quotes, and ensure that production has the right conditions by planning upcoming work and ordering materials. You will work closely with the workshop staff to understand needs, time requirements, and priorities, ensuring that the workflow is both well-prepared and efficient.

• Ongoing customer contact and preparation of quotes

• Planning of upcoming work in close dialogue with production

• Developing technical documentation and solutions

• Ordering materials and ensuring everything is in place

• Working flexibly and supporting colleagues where needs arise

Location: Västerås

Scope: Full-time

Working Hours: Daytime

We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with production and who likes to combine technical understanding with customer contact and practical planning. You are cooperative, unpretentious, and confident in dialogue with both customers and colleagues. You appreciate a work environment where collaboration and responsibility go hand in hand, where no day is the same, and where the team works together towards common goals.

• Experience in a similar role, such as Technical Preparer or equivalent within the production industry

• Experience from production, such as welding or CNC

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

• Good computer skills

• Driving license B and a car

• Technical education

• Experience with Monitor G5
