About the role As a procurement officer with us, you will play a central role in ensuring efficient, business-oriented, and quality-assured purchases. You will drive your own procurements from start to finish – from needs analysis and dialogue with the client to completed procurement and finalized contract. The procurements include contracts, goods, and services and are carried out in close collaboration with our operations. The role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence both methods and results.

Typical tasks

  • Drive procurements of goods, services, and contracts from needs to agreements

  • Conduct procurements according to LOU in close collaboration with clients

  • Provide support during call-offs on framework agreements

  • Ensure contract compliance within the organization

  • Contribute procurement expertise and advice internally

Who are we looking for?

  • University degree in economics, law, or engineering, or vocational training focused on procurement/purchasing

  • At least 2 years of experience in public procurement

  • Good and documented knowledge of LOU

  • Experience in procuring services and contracts in construction is an advantage

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

  • Good knowledge of English and the Office suite

We are looking for someone who is business-oriented and has a holistic perspective on procurement, where quality, economy, and the needs of the organization are balanced. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with a good understanding of regulations and processes, and take responsibility for driving your procurements all the way to completion.

You are clear in your communication and confident in dialogue with both clients and suppliers. Collaboration is a natural part of your working style, and you find it easy to build trust, while also being willing to set demands and follow up. With your knowledge of public procurement, you act as a support for the organization and actively contribute to developing methods and ensuring high quality and contract compliance.

Good to know The position is a temporary contract based at Navet, our office in Västerås, from April/May 2026 until September 2027. We work in an activity-based office with the possibility of hybrid work.
