We are looking for a NATO Coder
We are looking for a NATO coder who wants to help drive our work with defense logistics forward. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your skills where they truly make a difference. About the position
As a NATO coder, you will play a central role in systematically describing materials according to NATO's regulations based on the needs of the Swedish Armed Forces and NATO countries. In this role, you will help drive and assist in developing, maintaining, and upholding governing documents, processes, and methodologies within the section's various areas of responsibility. You will work both independently on tasks and collaboratively with other colleagues on various projects.
The role involves significant responsibility for developing and adapting the organization's conditions and support based on changes in the external environment, new legal requirements, and other governing factors. Your tasks will include planning, coordinating, and executing various assignments, where you will participate in and, if necessary, lead working groups. The role requires a good ability to structure and prioritize both your own and others' work.
In this position, you will represent the section and FMV both internally and externally. You will actively contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and practices and be responsible for sharing knowledge and experiences within the organization.
The position is located in Arboga. Travel may occur within and outside Sweden's borders.
About you
We are looking for someone who has completed a relevant 3-year upper secondary education. You have current and relevant experience working in a technical environment. To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have good knowledge of and have worked with various IT systems and the Office suite. Previous experience in administrative logistics work is considered an advantage. A fundamental requirement is that you have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

FMV – Swedish Defence Materiel Administration
At FMV, you contribute to making Sweden and the world safer. We are tasked with providing the Swedish Armed Forces with the latest technology and knowledge so they can defend our country and our allies. We in the Logistics area (VerkO Log) are responsible for and organize activities to deliver products and services within the logistics field. The operations are conducted in close collaboration with other areas within FMV, the Armed Forces, and external suppliers, where we serve as an advisory expert resource. This position is located in the Materiel Data Support unit, which is responsible for developing and implementing common working methods, processes, and requirements within our area.
You will work in our logistics area, which is responsible for materials and services within, among other things, logistics support, personal equipment, and field catering systems for the Armed Forces.
