Administrator for the Technical Projects Section

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is expanding – we are building new facilities, renovating, and adding to our existing structures, and we are now looking for more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport.

The responsibility for the authority's local supply lies with the property director and their property department. Within the department's Technical Property Unit, there is a section for technical projects, where project managers specialized in managing telecommunication security projects work. New is that the section will be expanded with an administrator to assist the rest of the section with administrative and structured support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of the administrator in the technical projects section is new, and there are therefore good opportunities to help shape and develop it together with other employees and based on the needs that arise as the section grows. The section is undergoing significant expansion, which means a high work pace and a need for support with administration and assistance in certain areas. The tasks are varied, often with a technical focus, and there are opportunities to specialize in certain areas.

As an administrator, you will primarily have administrative tasks such as monitoring our email inbox, minute-taking, documentation, and access requests for digital collaboration platforms. You may also work with orders for the section's projects and related case management and provide support in matters concerning contracts managed by the section. This may involve security protection issues, background checks, and procurements. We look forward to you starting as an administrator and hope that you, together with other employees, will find new and better work processes for both the section and the unit.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Academic education or education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience in administrative tasks, minute-taking, documentation, and access requests
• Experience in case management and various types of orders
• Experience in record-keeping
• Good knowledge of the Office suite
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Class B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in similar tasks within a government agency
• Experience in security protection-related tasks such as procurement, contracts, security assessments
• Experience in one or more of the following areas; overarching alarm systems, CCTV systems, portable panic alarms, communication systems, access control systems, perimeter alarms, etc.
• Good knowledge of the various support systems used by the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, such as Krimson, Proceedo, Antura, Heroma, Platina, and Felix
• Good knowledge of public procurement
• Good knowledge of security protection
• Good knowledge of security technology
