Summer Intern at Ekonomicenter

Do you want to boost your CV while studying? Are you interested in applying your theoretical knowledge in practice? Then you might be our new summer intern at Ekonomicenter!

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a team working with the processing of incoming payments and/or with supplier invoices and payments in our business systems. You will also handle internal and external matters.

As an accounting assistant, you will be part of our Ekonomicenter that supports the entire Martin & Servera group. We are just over 25 employees working with ongoing accounting, and during a summer with us, you will gain good insight into many different processes and large flows. It is a perfect way for you, who may be studying, to learn more about how an accounting department works.

In the role, you will have a lot of contact with our external customers and suppliers

This obviously requires that you are good at communicating with others, but after the summer, you will probably be even better.

What are we looking for in you?

We believe that you have started your studies in economics or similar and want to find a summer job that can open doors for the future. For you to enjoy the job, it is a prerequisite that you master Excel and like to learn new functions that can simplify your everyday life.

If you have previous experience in ongoing accounting, that is of course a plus, but absolutely no requirement. The most important thing is that you want to learn new things.

Your attitude and personality are extremely important; you should be driven to deliver high service according to a schedule and do so with a good mood. We who work at Ekonomicenter are a cheerful bunch and we help each other when needed. Cooperation and a desire to always do our best is what makes us successful.

Your workplace

We sit in an open office landscape in our new modern warehouse near Herstadberg in Norrköping. Together, we are 600 people in the warehouse, sales department, supply chain, and adjacent departments.

We apply flexible working hours, which gives you the opportunity to manage your time, and we have our own staff cafeteria that offers both breakfast and lunch.
