Description

We are now looking for a Global Purchasing Controller for a consulting assignment with our client – an international company with a global purchasing organization. The assignment is critical to operations and involves close collaboration with several divisions and functions within purchasing and finance.

The role is suitable for you who have a few years of experience in controlling in an international environment and who thrives in an analytical, business-oriented role with significant responsibility. You will be a key person in the work of monitoring, analyzing, and developing purchasing-related processes.

The manager for this role is based abroad, and you will collaborate daily with stakeholders in Sweden, Germany, and the Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

As a Global Purchasing Controller, you will work with:

  • Purchase controlling focusing on actual spend and KPI reporting for three divisions (Sweden, Germany, and the Czech Republic)

  • Forecasting (baseline and KPIs) related to purchasing

  • Price maintenance and follow-up

  • Monitoring, oversight, and improvement of purchasing systems

  • Analysis and reporting related to purchasing, master data, risk, and capacity

  • Ad hoc analyses and support to the purchasing organization

  • Collaboration with Finance, Purchasing, Operations, IT, and other relevant functions

  • Contributing to standardization, structure, and continuous improvement of controlling processes

  • Support in strategic initiatives and ESG-related follow-up within purchasing

QualificationsMandatory requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you must have:

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in controlling

  • Experience from an international or global organization

  • A degree (bachelor's or master's) in engineering or business administration

  • Good system knowledge in ERP, preferably SAP

  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written

  • Strong analytical skills and high accuracy

  • Ability to work independently in a complex, cross-functional environment

Desirable qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI, PLM, or similar global systems

  • Previous work in purchasing or supply chain

  • Experience with ESG-related follow-up

Conditions
  • Assignment type: Consulting assignment

  • Employment: You will be employed by us and rented out to the client

  • Location: Linköping

  • Work model: On-site at the start of the assignment, then hybrid

  • Assignment start: Immediately

  • Assignment end: End of September
