Your new role
We are now looking for a Global Purchasing Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in Linköping – an international company with a strong global presence and a complex purchasing operation.
In the role of Global Purchasing Controller, you will support the purchasing function with controlling, follow-up, and analysis at a global level. You will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, and KPI follow-up for several divisions in Europe and act as an important link between purchasing, finance, and other central functions. The focus is on data quality, transparency, and creating decision-making support that drives the business forward.
You will report to a manager based in Germany and collaborate daily with stakeholders in Sweden, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
Your main responsibilities:
Purchase controlling with a focus on actual spend and KPI reporting for three divisions (Sweden, Germany, and the Czech Republic)
Forecasting (baseline and KPIs) related to purchasing
Price maintenance and price follow-up
Monitoring, oversight, and improvement of purchasing systems
Analysis and reporting related to purchasing, master data, risk, and capacity
Ad hoc analyses and ongoing support to the purchasing organization
Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Purchasing, Operations, IT, etc.
Contribute to standardization, structure, and continuous improvement of controlling processes
Support in strategic initiatives and ESG-related follow-up within purchasing
Assignment scope: Full-time, 100% Employment type: Temporary employment as a consultant via JobBusters. Work model: On-site at the start of the assignment, then hybrid. Start: As soon as possible. To be successful in this role, you needA degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
At least 3–5 years of experience in controlling, preferably within purchasing and/or supply chain.
Experience from a larger international organization.
Good system proficiency in ERP, preferably SAP.
Very good skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Desirable: Experience with systems such as Power BI, PLM, or similar.
Strong analytical skills, good understanding of data, and high accuracy.
