Workplace Description
The Police Authority is now seeking an experienced project leader for the Intelligence Systems group.
As an employee in the IT department, you are part of an important societal mission with many exciting areas of operation and an opportunity to make a real difference. The IT department of the Police Authority has over 1200 employees who together manage the operation, maintenance, and development of IT support for the authority's various areas of operation and 40,000 employees.

The Intelligence Systems group has overall responsibility for the development and lifecycle management of products used in the part of law enforcement that constitutes intelligence operations. The group, consisting of system developers, requirements analysts, project leaders, testers, solution architects, and technical product specialists, now needs to be expanded with another experienced project leader.
Job Description
As a project leader with us, you are part of and lead our self-organizing agile development team. You help drive the work from startup to delivered business value, and you are responsible for planning, monitoring, and communication regarding ongoing assignments. You are the point of contact for many different stakeholders and drive collaborations with other groups within the IT department and the business. You ensure that the team has the best possible conditions and help drive continuous improvements.
Our goal is to deliver the right things at the right time through continuous smaller deliveries and by constantly evaluating how we work. We all have an agile mindset where we deliver together and help where we can.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant degree from a university or college or equivalent acquired experience that the employer deems relevant.
- Several years of current experience leading, planning, and coordinating a development team's assignments from startup to delivery in roles such as product owner, project leader, or project manager.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
- The position requires Swedish citizenship.
It is meritorious if you also have experience in:
- Agile methodology in development teams
- Planning and leading workshops and work meetings
- Driving the collection of business needs and transforming these into requirements
- Technical system management
