A day in the life with us!

We are now looking for an automation specialist for IKEA Industry Hultsfred, Furniture. As an automation specialist, you will participate in or lead various small projects primarily focused on the renovation of machines and other equipment. In addition to these projects, you will also lead your own investigations focusing on various issues in the process. In the role of automation specialist, you will also act as support to other colleagues in production and maintenance as you assist with various troubleshooting tasks. The position also includes creating drawings/electrical designs, programming PLC and HMI, as well as preventive maintenance. Shift work may occur.

So who are you?

You are a problem solver and initiator who enjoys taking on various projects with a focus on providing improvements and solutions. You take responsibility for your tasks and thrive in the role of leading yourself as well as others. You have good collaboration skills and a willingness to help and share knowledge with your colleagues to actively participate in your own and the team's development. You have cost awareness in everything you do, and your work results are always characterized by a safety mindset. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an automation technician or automation engineer is highly meritorious.

Your profile:

You are a positive and communicative person. You have an education in electrical engineering and an advanced training in process/automation, or equivalent work experience.

Experience in electrical design, drawings, and programming within PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, Beckhoff, or similar) is an advantage.

A good technical understanding is required, and you should have good computer skills as you will use the computer as your primary working tool. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written; German is an advantage.
