What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a qualified and trained Swedish teacher with experience in teaching adults Swedish as a second language for our operations in Norrbotten.

Your tasks will include customized teaching, individualized planning, and writing documentation of lessons. An assignment typically consists of 20-50 lessons on average. The typical intensity per client and course is a teaching session of about 1.5 hours one to two times a week. Your workplace will be in various parts of Norrbotten.

One of our main business areas is individual private tutoring and group training in Swedish for healthcare professionals. Each client and student is unique, and we tailor the teaching entirely to meet the specific needs of each client. Courses are usually held at the employer's location. You will work independently and should be accustomed to taking responsibility for courses and assignments. You can always choose your working hours, but we prioritize applicants who are flexible with times and locations.

You should be driven and skilled as a Swedish teacher and interested in teaching expats and international talents who have moved to Sweden. You must have a teaching degree in Swedish as a second language or equivalent pedagogical education, as well as experience in teaching Swedish as a second language with at least 90 higher education credits in the subject area of Swedish and at least three (3) years of documented continuous experience in adult education in Swedish for individuals with foreign backgrounds. It is particularly important that you have experience teaching healthcare professionals before and have an understanding of teaching as a service offering.
