Matilda is a 25-year-old girl with Rett Syndrome who lives in her own apartment with assistance around the clock (waiting time during the night). Matilda enjoys music, reading, movies, and spending time with family and friends. Normally, she is an active person who likes gymnastics, dancing, swimming, traveling, and attending concerts, but due to pain issues, she sometimes needs support at a calmer pace.

You will become part of a wonderful team of assistants who will welcome you into the group and provide you with a safe and secure onboarding process.

As Matilda's personal assistant, you will play an important role in her daily life. You will:

• Assist with all ADL (personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, meal situations, etc.).

• Support her in activities and during certain transfers.

• Read her body language and facial expressions (as she lacks speech but has much to say).

• Ensure she receives physical, intellectual, and social stimulation for a safe and meaningful everyday life.

• Be creative and flexible in finding solutions for her daily needs.

• Participate in her large group of friends, where friends and assistants often meet several times a week to do things together.

Due to her pain issues, Matilda may sometimes exhibit challenging behaviors. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have previous experience in situations that require a calm and professional approach.

• Have experience in personal assistance or other care and support (meritorious)

• Be patient and committed

• Have a manual driver's license to be able to drive Matilda's car (requirement)

• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written (requirement)

• Be smoke-free (requirement)

• Employment type: hourly employment

• Scope: extra as needed, such as during sickness and vacation

• Working hours: 24-hour shifts from 09:00 to 09:00.

• Start date: By agreement.
