Your Mission

We are now looking for an engaged teacher for after-school care at Bergviksskolan.

In the role of a primary teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for providing students with a safe, meaningful, and developing leisure time before, during, and after school hours. You support students' personal and social development, encourage responsibility and initiative, and ensure that the after-school care program becomes a natural and important part of the school's overall environment. You are a present leader who creates engagement and community and who is happy to contribute new ideas. During school hours, you also work as a resource in the classroom. Description of the Workplace

Bergviksskolan is located about 20 kilometers from the center of Söderhamn and is a K-9 school divided into two sections, K-3 and 4-9, led by two principals. This allows for collaboration and good cooperation opportunities. In K-3, there are about 75 students. Here, 11 educators and other key personnel work together with the common goal that all students should feel good, be safe, and succeed in their studies. The school is located near forests and nature, where the large areas of the schoolyard provide opportunities for play, sports, and other activities.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with good pedagogical and didactic skills who can independently plan, lead, and evaluate their work to create safety, study peace, and a positive learning environment for the students. You are engaged, collaborative, and eager to share your knowledge. You want to develop together with us and have an interest in advancing the after-school care program in collaboration with colleagues and students.
