Your Mission

We are looking for a qualified primary school teacher for grades 4-6 at Stenbergaskolan.

In your role as a teacher at Stenbergaskolan, you will plan and implement teaching according to the curriculum, follow up and document students' development, and create stimulating and varied learning environments. You will also actively participate in the school's development work and collaborate with colleagues to create a holistic approach to students' learning. Parent contact and collaboration with the student health team are also part of your responsibilities.

You will be the class teacher for one grade and teach the class in all subjects except crafts, physical education, and music.

The position is a temporary contract, at most, until August 2027.

Workplace Description

Stenbergaskolan is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We are close to forests, rivers, and the sea. On the school grounds, there is Ljusne Preschool, adapted primary school, and primary school grades F-9. The public library and school library share facilities. The two school buildings are from the 1950s and 1970s and have been renovated several times over the years to adapt to the operations. The primary school has about 300 students distributed across 16 classes and approximately 50 staff members.

We are looking for someone with strong pedagogical insight and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their goals. You are results-oriented and have a well-developed ability to work towards set goals. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you enjoy working in teams and building good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. Your leadership skills are clear, and you have a natural talent for creating a safe and developing learning environment.
