JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teaching assistant, you have an important and meaningful role where your work makes a significant difference in the student's daily life.

The role involves working with students in teams of 4-6. You will work alongside another teaching assistant, alternating tasks. Sometimes you will work individually with a student, sometimes in smaller groups, and sometimes in class. There is a considerable support need for students facing challenges in the neuropsychiatric area (NPF). You will be present throughout the student's school day and, if applicable, also at the after-school program. The work is carried out in close collaboration with educators at the school and in dialogue with guardians.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Working individually with students and providing pedagogical and social support during the school day
  • Supporting students in all subjects in grades 4-6
  • Working in a low-affective manner and proactively in situations that may be challenging
  • Collaborating with educators, student health services, and guardians

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to the development of children and young people and who thrives in a role where relationship-building, clarity, and safety are central to the mission. You are calm, stable, and have the ability to meet students with different needs through a low-affective approach.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a high school diploma or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position
  • experience and competence in working with children and youth within the NPF spectrum
  • good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • experience in supporting students in all subjects in grades 4-6
  • an interest in football

To succeed in this role, you are:

  • stable, calm, and act in a low-affective manner even in challenging situations
  • relationship-building and have an easy time establishing trusting relationships
  • collaborative and enjoy working together with colleagues and guardians
  • structured, contributing to clarity, predictability, and safety in the student's daily life

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
