JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and the pedagogical development work. Do you fit this description? Great! Come and make Gävle more pedagogical with us!

Together with your colleagues in the work team, you as a preschool teacher will have primary responsibility for the education at the preschool. The work includes planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of the operations according to decided goals and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree from the preschool teacher program and preschool certification with the authority to teach in preschool and preschool class or has an ongoing education in the preschool teacher program with graduation in January 2026.
• has knowledge of and experience with digital tools.
• has a good ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is also good if you have:

• experience with children in need of special support
• experience with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) and experience with TACT (Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication).

Candidates selected for an interview will first meet with an HR consultant. Digital interviews will take place on the afternoon of January 30 and February 3.

You as a final candidate must be able to present a criminal record from the police for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
